Chickens and Crows
I’ve been in the mood for feathers. Here is an ink drawing I made a while ago of a chicken, and below some pencil sketches of Merlin, a characterful raven at the Tower of London. I’ve been back dabbling in mono-printing and found the ink/brushwork works rather well for feathers. The smeary nature also gives an idea of movement, shuffling or wings.
